Introducing a new co-blogger!! Meet ALEX: Blogger Interview + Giveaway (INT)

As you know I have been searching high and low for a new co-blogger / contributor. Well, it just so happens I found one in a very amazing place! :e Her name is Alex and you probably know her from her own blog @ The Books Buzz.  <——seriously, after you read this post and enter the giveaway you NEED to check out her blog, it's awesomesauce. ^_^

To introduce her to you all I thought it would be fun to do a little interview! • Alex, tell the lovely readers a bit about yourself!! 

My real name is Alexandria, and I'm a 15-year-old blogger at The Book's Buzz. I love to read (duhh) but even more than that, I love to write. I love to write short stories and other small poems and articles. 

• What got you into book blogging?

The White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter. One of my favorite books that always brings back that nostalgia feeling of the first time I fell in love with reading. No one else in m family reads as avidly as I do, but I felt like it was something that made me unique.

• What's your favorite thing about book blogging?

100% meeting all the different book bloggers out there! It's so important to have friends in this "business" LOL and it just makes the experience so much more personal. I can't believe i've made so many new friends, met so many new people on this outlet, and I hope to meet many more!

• What made you decide to be a co-blogger here? 

I've always wanted a co-blogger on my site but realized that I'm way too scared to do that, however, I've always wanted the feeling of someone you can confide in and kind of like a book bestie. Therefore, I searched for a bunch of book blogs that were looking for co-bloggers and in my feed, I stumbled upon this blog that I was already familiar with. I honestly never imagined I would be picked, but I'm glad I'm here!

• What do you hope to contribute / add to the blog?

Tons and tons of funny and serious discussion posts, new book tags (created by me), challenges, bookish trivia posts, manga/anime reviews, and lastly, TV show reviews!! Just a bunch of fun :D

• What are your favorite YA series? Stand-alone book? 

Favorite YA series is hands down the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, and I'm not going to enter the giveaway because I want you to all have a chance to read this freaking amazing book! Favorite stand-alone book is Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson. That book brings me to tears every single time! 

• What is your favorite YA author? Ok, that's a hard question…what about, top 5 YA authors?

Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Brandon Sanderson, Gena Showalter, and Maggie Hall.

• Besides blogging, what are some of the other things you love to do?

Besides blogging I enjoy long-boarding, which is really another way to say skateboarding. I skateboard, and I'm totally not ashamed. Just imagine the wind blowing against your face and pulling all your hair back!! It's total bliss. 

• After YA, what is your favorite genre? 

Science fiction! 

• If you could force me to read one book, what would it be and why? 

Well Throne of Glass is a given I'll go with something else. I need you to read more Jennifer L. Armentrout so.... White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

…there you have it folks! I have to take her advice and read Throne of Glass, which is why I'm giving away a copy to force some other people who (hopefully) like me, are embarrassed to say they haven't read it! :$ I plan to read it in March during the #TackleTBR challenge. I'm also adding White Hot Kiss to my wishlist, I already have it on my TBR ;)

I'm very excited to have Alex on board and especially those Manga and anime reviews!
