Stacking the Shelves #27: I reached a milestone this week!

This was a special week for me as a book blogger. In the past, I've received many eARCs and a few paperback ARCs through giveaways or the ARCycling program. Last week I sent out my very first few emails to publishers requesting a few books I really wanted. Although I've been blogging for almost a year, I hadn't felt I had enough of a following to request before now. This week I reached a. Milestone though because it was the first time I heard back from a publisher about a request. I was added to the mailing list AND sent a copy of Resistance by Jenna Black from Tor Teen! It's the sequel to Replica, and it's my very first paperback ARC sent to ME from the publisher. So Tor, you're now located in a special area of my heart.

Ok, onto the books! I got some good ones. I got even more books for Xmas gifts for family and friends..and may have bought a few for myself  since my mom said she didn't know what books I wanted. :$ And I already started Persuasion for my Dust off yourClassics challenge. I'm excited for Kresley Cole's series, anyone read it? :O 

Oh and I'm doing the holiday #readathon! Who else is participating? It's just for the weekend, then the next one starts. Can't wait to dig into some books..and kinda meh about digging into my huge review pile, but *shrugs* it's gotta get done!
